Guides / [For le noobs] Dungeoneering guide!
« Last post by Snowy on May 28, 2012, 07:35:47 pm »
Hi guys, another guide by Snowy, blah blah xD

Ok, to get started dungin, buy a ring of kinship from Shopkeeper, who's the second one from the west side at Market. Left click the ring of kinship (open party interface) and it will tele you to dung area. In this area, make sure you have nothing in your inventory or on you (the ring is acceptable) and click on the hollowed rock to go in.

The first step in dung is to get yourself some supplies. You will start with 20m cash and 2 manta rays. I'd advise using magic unless you have very high defense. What you want to do is buy a primal 2h, or a doomcore staff (zero gp dw) and some runes, ice spells preferably. Kill monsters until you get 4 keys (doesn't matter the colors). When you have 4 keys, you need to have 1 of each color. So if you have 2 blue ones, you'd sell one to the shop, and buy the one you need. In more basic terms, you can sell any key for 100m and buy any key for 100m. After you get all keys, one of each color, go through the door to fight the boss. Then go through the next door to go to next floor.. (NEVER CLICK ON LADDERS, THEY EXIT DUNGEON)
On the other floors, you will do similar things. Here is a list xD

On floor 1, you need the 4 keys.
On floor 2, you need 12 kills.
On floor 3, you need 4 keys.
On floor 4, you need 4 keys.
On floor 5, you need 16 kills.
On floor 6, you need to kill the penance queen.
On floor 7, you need 4 keys.
On floor 8, you need 4 keys.
Note:Floor 8 boss is very difficult!

Have fun dunging! Note that dung points go up with each floor, so doing floors 1-8 gets you alot more than doing floor 1 eight times.

Hi guys, Snowy again, here's a guide to make money as a new player.

There are 2 important ways to make money in the time period where you're in-between being a noob and being able to boss effectively. Maybe you need money to get overloads, or maybe you need it for summoning or prayer. Either way, this is the guide for you.

Method #1: Theiving:
To start theiving, pickpocket men at home. They give 15k each and you should pickpocket them until 50 or 60 theiving, which shouldn't take too long.
Next up is Guards. You shouldn't fail too much with around 60 thieving. They give 40k cash.
At around 90 theiving, which will take a little bit of time (around 20 mins), you should have a nice amount of money and you should be able to effectively pickpocket paladins. These give 80k. Finally, you can pickpocket Heros, which are difficult even with 99 theiving. These give 150k!
Note: If you get Gloves of Silence, equip them, they make you thieve better. If you get multiple pairs, sell the excess to the Shopkeeper who's next to the 2 summoning shops. (Shop is called: I buy anything)

Method #2: Hunter:
Hunting is another great method of making money. To start, just catch baby implings, then do young implings, and work your way through the tiers of them. I'm not sure the exact order, but when you get 74 hunter, the money will start coming in. At 74 hunter, you can catch ninja implings! These give 50k cash. It will take awhile to catch an inventory of them (1.4m) at 74 theiving, but at higher levels its very fast. The best impling is dragon implings. These give a whopping 90k each, but are not easy to catch without high hunter levels close to 99. You will get 2.4m for an inventory of these, and it only takes around 1-2 mins at 99 hunter, which will take a while. My opinion is that hunter does take awhile, but it's worth it in the long run.

Guides / [For le noobs] Basic training guide!

Hey guys, this be Snowy.
So i gots this guide for all you new players to train your accounts up to higher levels. Heres some information :D.

The best basic spot to train at low levels in rock crabs. To get there, go to your spellbook tab (HotKey F4) and press monster teleport, also known as varrock teleport. Then select "Rock crabs." This should teleport you there. Now just kill some to level up your combat stats.

After you've got some higher levels, you can start slayer! Slayer is a great, fun way to make money and train at the same time. Talk to Duradel at home to begin slaying. If you're ever stuck and need to know where a certain monster is, you can feel free to ask me or any other vet players/admins. Another great thing about slaying is that when you're ready to boss, you'll be all set if you slayed while training. Ice strykworms, a good source of money, need 93 slayer to kill. Frost dragons need 92.

That is a basic guide to begin training your account up!
